Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

Thekgang exists to build a professional, collaborative, and inclusive book industry. All listing holders must adhere to the following:

1. Professionalism
  • Represent yourself accurately and truthfully.

  • Respond to inquiries from the public in a timely and respectful manner.

2. Integrity
  • Do not misrepresent your credentials, past work, or affiliations.

  • If you are listed as an “Author,” you must have at least one published or self-published work. Ghostwriters and co-writers must disclose their role accurately.

3. No exploitation
  • Do not use the Directory to underpay freelancers, interns, or emerging practitioners. Thekgang supports fair practice and sector growth.

4. Confidentiality
  • Do not harvest contact information from this Directory for unsolicited marketing, spam, or cold-calling unrelated to the book sector. This is a directory for connection, not a lead-generation tool.

5. Breach of code
  • Thekgang reserves the right to remove any listing that violates this Code of Conduct without refund (where fees apply in future) and without notice to the public.
